	This is a wonderful book. My grandchildren ask a lot of questions about history, as they know that my husband and I love history. I want to make sure they know the true history of all wars, that pertain to our USA history.....and to know that they have several kinsmen in the family trees that answered the call to them. My aunt is featured as she joined the 38th Evac. Unit, as a nurse. Thanks for this AWESOME book!

	N.C.'s Shining Hour: Images & Voices from World War II
	Great photos and fairly good commentary of events in N.C.[my home state] during World War II. I'd definitely recommend the book to others. I'd love to see more written of the many young men [like my Dad] who walked off farms to go to war; some like Robert Morgan of The Memphis Belle fame came out of rural Madison County and returned to sell real estate. I'd love more of those stories. Best wishes.

	North Carolina's Shining Hour: Images & Voices from World War II
	Interesting narratives about North Carolinians and their experiences in WW II. Disappointed that so little attention was given to the military buildup and infrastructure that was created between 1940 and 1946, and then for the most part vanished as quickly. Perhaps that's a subject for another book.
